I see people advertising a pick-up load of firewood as a "Full Cord"

A full Cord of Wood is "OVER" the top of the Bed of a full size Pick-Up - A Cord of wood is measured at - (4 feet x 4 feet x 8 feet long)
- If the firewood is "STACKED" in a Full Size Pick-UP (8 foot) Bed with "No Toolboxes" filled to top of the bed - you are getting about 1/2 Cord of wood.
- If it is randomly tossed in the Pick-Up Bed - again full size (8 foot and no toolboxes) - you are getting about 1/4 to 1/3 of a cord.
Many of us are actually "Offering or Delivering" - correctly measured amounts of wood - please deal with them - at least you are getting the amount of wood you are paying for.
From our experience:
- Full Size Pick-Up - (8 foot pick-up bed and no toolboxes) - filled with firewood "STACKED" in the bed to the top and slightly domed in the center is - 1/2 cord
- Small Pick-UP - like Ford Ranger, Toyota Tacoma, Dodge Dakota - etc. - (7 foot pick-up bed and no toolboxes) - filled with firewood "STACKED" in the bed to the top and slightly domed in the center is - 1/4 cord
- Small SUV's - like Subaru Forester, Jeep Cherokee, Chevy Blazer, Ford Explorer, etc. - with firewood "STACKED" in the vehicle to the top in the "Utility" area is - about 1/8 cord
